The Planning Board declared itself the lead agency under SEQRA for this project and then adopted a negative declaration of environmental impact, i.e., the project will not have a significant negative impact on the environment.  The Planning Board adopted a resolution approving the preliminary layout, subject to the applicant addressing the comments made in the public hearing.

September 22, 2008
The board approved a 90 day extension while the applicant waits for Health Department approval.

October 6, 2008
Request for 2nd 90 day time extension: The time extension, requested because Board of Health testing is still in progress, was granted.

February 9, 2009
The board reapproved the preliminary subdivision plan. Two of the plan's three lots have already received health department okay for septic systems; the third lot needs to be retested and this cannot be done until the weather improves

August 10, 2009
Rainy weather delayed DOH observation of perc tests.  The requested 1st 90 day extension was granted.

September 14, 2009
The board approved a second 90 day extension. The delay is getting Board of Health approval.
The 3 lot subdivision was approved by Planning Board Resolution 08-02 on January 14, 2008.

December 14, 2009

According to Mr. Capellini, the applicant had been waiting for the Department of Health to witness the septic system perc tests and deep-hole tests. Since the application has already had two 90 day extensions, it had to be re-approved, which the Planning Board did.
