Section 47.16 Block 1 Lot 12 Pre-Preliminary Application Location: Baldwin Road near Baptist Church Rd., Yorktown Heights Description: Proposed 2 lot subdivision on 5.360 acres in the R1-80 zone Planning Board, January 28, 2008 (work session) The size of each proposed lot is large enough under the current zoning, but they lack adequate frontage on a town road. The Planning Board repeated its long standing preference for a single driveway, rather than the construction of new town roadway in this type of situation. The Board urged the applicant to apply to the Zoning Board for a variance to legalize lots with inadequate road frontage and to allow the use of a common driveway. | |
