February 9, 2009, work session The 2.36 acre site was subdivided in 1988 without going through the official subdivision process. The site is in a R1-20 zone that is scheduled to be upzoned to R1-40. Now, the couple that owns both parcels wants to legally subdivide them. (They had previously been told by the zoning board that what they needed was a legal subdivision, not a variance.) There was a brief discussion about different options for drawing the subdivision lines and Planning Director John Tegeder advised the couple to get a site design engineer.
