Description: Request to renew a variance allowing for outdoor activities which are generally not permitted in a CRS Zone.

These outdoor activities include Christmas tree sales, craft fair, carnival, haunted house, farmers' market, oriental rug sale, etc. The Planning Board has no opposition to a five year renewal of the variance.

January 11, 2010, work session

 The applicant needs a variance from the ZBA to change the lot lines in order to convey part of its property (where Cablevision has been parking trucks since 1991) to the adjacent Cablevision property.  This transfer has always been a part of the proposed development.  The Planning Board will support the variance, but asked Mr. Capellini to provide information about when the conveyance would take place.  The conveyed parcel requires improvements (paving, drainage, storm sewers).  If these improvements are the responsibility of Mongero Properties, they need to be done before the conveyance while they still have access to the site.  Mr. Capellini will check on who is responsible for the improvements and when the conveyance will take place.
